The Art of Sequencing & Embodied Teaching with Mark Herron

This 50-hour training invites you to slow down, nourish your nervous system, and deepen your understanding of Yin Yoga and meditation.

You can join us in the studio at Sukha Yoga Austin or from anywhere online via live Zoom sessions.

Whether you’re a teacher seeking new tools or a dedicated student wanting to explore the medicine of stillness, this training offers flexibility for your life and location.

How It Works

    •    Join live in-person or livestream online for the weekend sessions

    •    Access recordings of all sessions if you need to rewatch or can’t attend live

    •    Complete your practice hours in-studio, at home, or at your local studio (if not in Austin)

    •    All required reading, journaling, and personal practice can be completed remotely

Hour Breakdown

1️⃣ Weekend Training Sessions: 30 Hours

    •    5 weekends of live sessions (in-person or online)

    •    6 hours per weekend

Total: 30 hours

2️⃣ Required Class Attendance: 12 Hours

    •    6 Yin classes + 6 meditation classes

    •    Can be completed at Sukha Yoga, online, or at your local studio

Total: 12 hours

3️⃣ Personal Practice: 4 Hours

    •    Self-designed Yin or meditation sessions at home

4️⃣ Reading & Journaling: 4 Hours

    •    Guided reading from the optional list

    •    Reflective journaling prompts to integrate your learning

Sukha Yoga Austin Meditation Teacher Training

This course can be a stand alone journey or as a foundation to your advanced training of 500 Hours as a current certified Yoga Teacher.

Course Structure

6-Month Journey

We meet one weekend per month for in-depth training:Fridays (Evening) — Book discussion, reflection, and peer group workSaturdays & Sundays (Full Days) — Extended practices, lecture, group dialogue, and joyful integrationIn Between Weekends:- 2 additional classes/month at Sukha (in-studio or livestream)- 1 hour/week of personal practice, reading, and reflection- Optional 40-day meditations with peer support

Bonus Certification Requirements (200-Hour)

- 40 meditation or breath-based classes with Mark or Erinn (in-studio or livestream)- These can be taken during or after the training- Includes Dharma Talks, Nervous System Reset, and Breathwork classes

Split Option: $1500 now / $1200 by January 1

However, if unexpected life events arise, we will meet with you to co-create a compassionate plan, such as deferral, future credit, or alternate completion.
